Lets make it a friendly 5k gold. Verification by screen shot and guarantee of payment will be on the honor system (no 3rd party holding the gold or stuff like that). Just a friendly wager.
You in? Anyone else want a piece of the action? Winnings will be split among all winners evenly.

Honestly, I hope you can't create 'sins and rits in Nightfall if for no other reason than to not have to see any more "Assasin LFG PLEASE TAKE ME!!" spams from 'sins that no one will take. There are enough of those in and coming from Factions.

My rit already has every skill unlocked, and she's possibly my first character I'm taking over to Elona.
You guys can twist Gaile's words all you want, but we've been told ad nauseam that we can't make rits or sins in Nightfall because they are specific professions to Factions. But hey, you never know.

No, you can NOT start an Assassin or a Ritualist in Nightfall because:
1. It has been said ad nauseum that chapter specific professions can only be created in that very chapter.
2. We could NOT create an Assassin or Ritualist primary in the Nightfall preview event.
3. We could NOT select an Assassin or Ritualist secondary in the Nightfall preview event.
4. What Gaile said was that you could not create an Assassin or Ritualist unless you own Factions. She NEVER implied that we could create Assassin or Ritualist in Nightfall.

My educated guess would be you can not create an assassin or ritualist in NightFall. What supports this guess? You can't create an assassin/ritualist in Prophecies even if you own both campaigns. Assuming you could create an assassin/ritualist in NightFall would imply you should be able to make a dervish/paragon in every campaign...also unlikely.
So, since the dervish/paragon and assassin/ritualist are culture specific, they will likely be raised on their base continent before spreading like wildfire to the other continents.
That said, we will all know in about 3 1/2 days.

As I said at the beginning. You can only create chapter specific professions on their home continents, then move them as you will between other continents you can access. That is what Gaile meant.

Sounds good to me! If I'm wrong (which I'm not) I will gladly pay you. The way to prove it yourself tho is when Nightfall comes out, make a rit or sin. You can always delete it. I'll be waiting to hear from you with my 5k.
What Gaile said was, if you do not have factions, then you will not be able to create a rit or sin in Nightfall.

Think there will be some disappointed people when they find out that they can’t create an Assassin nor Ritualist in nightfall. As other have said they are chapter orientated classes and you have to have factions and to which they are born in Cantha.
Also that would mean their skills would also be split in into three categories Core, Factions, Nightfall. And there is no listing of Core skills.

Look closely at what she's saying. "If you do not have factions, you will not be able to create Assassins or Ritualists in Nightfall" Then she says, "Assassins and Rits are non-core professions, so you must own Factions to create and play them"
No where in that does she say you can't make them in Nightfall. She did say that you can make them in Nightfall if you own Factions.
Why can't you all see this? I don't understand it.

I think what she means is that if you don't own Factions you can't play an Assassin or Ritualist in Nightfall.
I'd be willing to bet 5k also.
So no, I don't think you'll be able to MAKE them in Elona.

Exactly!
So, you're on my side of the bet then? Just making sure since you didn't seem to know earlier.
